COOKIE POLICY
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on daftercume.com, operated by DAF TERCÜME EĞİTİM VE DİL HİZMETLERİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“Daf Translation”). For details on how we process personal data, please see our privacy notice.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used to run the site, keep it secure and remember your preferences. The browser's local storage may be used for the same purposes; in this policy both are referred to as “cookies”.
2. Cookies we use
Necessary cookies
Required for the site's core functions and cannot be switched off. No consent is requested for them; they rely on the performance of a contract and legitimate interest (Law No. 6698, Article 5/2).
- daf-tercume-session: manages your session and form submissions. Expires when the browser closes or after at most 2 hours of inactivity.
- XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against forged requests. Expires with the session.
- daf_cookie_consent_v2: stores your cookie preferences. Kept for 1 year.
- daf_cookie_reloaded (session storage): makes sure the page reloads only once after you change your preferences. Removed when the tab closes.
Analytics cookies
Help us understand how the site is used through anonymous or pseudonymous statistics (e.g. Google Analytics). They run only with your explicit consent.
Marketing cookies
Used to measure advertising and campaigns and to show relevant content (e.g. advertising tags loaded via Google Tag Manager). They run only with your explicit consent.
Analytics and marketing cookies are not loaded at all until you consent; Google Consent Mode starts in the “denied” state by default.
3. Managing your preferences
On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, allow only necessary cookies or choose categories one by one. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom of the page.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, some functions such as the contact form may not work.
4. Third parties and transfers abroad
If you consent, analytics and marketing cookies are set by providers such as Google, whose servers may be located abroad. Such transfers rely on your explicit consent (Law No. 6698, Article 9). No new data is collected once you withdraw your consent.
5. Your rights and contact
To exercise your rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 or to ask about this policy, please reach us through our contact page.
6. Changes
This policy is updated whenever the cookies we use change. The current version is always published on this page; the last update date is shown at the top.
